During the course of academic studies, various difficulties can arise related to study methods, organization and planning, managing academic commitments, presenting acquired knowledge, creative block, exam anxiety, difficult relationships with faculty, uncertainty about the motivations behind one’s choices, and uncertainty about one’s future. Since the resulting psychological distress often touches on deeply personal matters, it is essential to be able to ask for professional, non-judgmental support that can address these difficulties and promote wellbeing in support of an optimal course of study.
